How can I promote my work from home website for free?
Posted on Oct 14, 2009 under Work From Home |I just started a work at home website, the link is in my profile, and I need some ideas for free promotion. Aside from Craigslist what are some other ideas
Building links by submitting your links through link directory submissions would work well. You can do this on you own, but it will take a lot of time.
If you need help, you can always find an affordable SEO service provider that will take care of your website promotion just as good as the most expensive companies but for a reasonably low rate.

Car magnets- the ones you stick on the side of your car, or the ones you put in your back window. Tee shirts also work well, and are fairly cheap. Business cards left on counters. Bumper stickers. Talk to people about promoting your site, talk to friends and family. The expensive way is to promote through web ads but that can cost thousands a month.
Good luck,

Hi Paige,
There are many ways to do so without a single cent.
One simple method is that you put your website url as part of your signature in every e-mail you send out.
You can also post it on your facebook with the url of any new update on your website.
Hope it will be helpful for you.

I’d concentrate on creating the compelling content that my site visitors enjoy and that is search engines friendly, and Building inbound links. Also email marketing - if you have an email list you can quickly reach a targeted audience with your message. Or else simply embedding the tell-a-friend in the product toolbar will enable users to spread the word easily.
